If you’ve ever thought about making your own music or you just want to give it a go, then a great way to start is by using your computer. Most people think it’s way to complicated to make their own music but in reality it’s really not that hard! You just need the right music software.
If you do want to make your own music then please do keep reading because I’m going to show you just how easy it really is. All you will need is a computer, speakers and some music making software that you can download and use on your computer.
I’ve been making my own music for quite a while now and I’ve had the opportunity to work with a lot of different software. But the one I always come back to and use the most is Dubturbo. Why? Because it’s so easy to use and there is thousands of sounds and samples already built-in.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not the BEST music software for everyone..But if you want something that’s affordable, very easy to use and a breeze to work with that has pro features to create just about any genre of music then you will love it just as much as I do!
This article will give you an idea of how to use Dubturbo and why I think it’s such a powerful music making software for such a low price. Yes, it does cost BUT it’s very affordable and has all the features for a fraction of the price compared to other software.
I personally love making hip hop, rap and house beats with Dubturbo but have recently started to experiment a little with Dubstep(for those who are looking for a good dubstep maker then Dubturo is definitely something worth checking out). All I do is load the program and create a bar in the sequencer and this is where the magic starts to happen!
Within Dubturbo there is a complete library of thousands of sounds and effects to choose from. I normally start making a simple beat with some drums just to get the flow going. Dubturbo is similar to big DAW’s creating and editing bars is as simple as drag and drop or you can use your computer keyboard to tap in the beats.
Once I have a simple beat pattern I create a new bar and start adding other instruments like synths, piano, bass or string..There are lots of instruments to choose from! You can create a simple loop then drag and drop that bar where you want.
That’s all you really need to do to make a simple beat. You can do it for fun or you can do what I do and sell your beats online. I’ve made a part time income doing so and it’s so easy.
